I am an artist working primarily in oil paint and charcoal, with a focus on portraiture and landscape. My work draws inspiration from the Old Masters and artists such as John Singer Sargent and Arthur Streeton. Through observation and the alla prima painting method, I seek to capture light, atmosphere, and form with spontaneity and immediacy. My practice is driven by a continual desire to deepen my understanding of drawing and painting while exploring the beauty of the natural world and the human experience.
